Gentzsch.net

I've recently updated my resume and it's published for the world (or at least those in it who can spell my last name!) to see on Gentzsch.net. Thank you, Jess, for helping me remember what I've done! And thank you, Mark, for putting it online!

Yes, I realize I have two domains. What can I say? I've been in Silicon Valley five years! I figured that enough people wouldn't be able to spell Gentzsch, that Velma.org was a worthy investment.

Quote of the Day

"Those who are too smart to engage in politics are punished by being governed by those who are dumber." - Plato

An appropriate quote for this inaugural day. Plato sums up nicely my motivation for thinking more about politics and challenging others to do so with me. I recently read "Don't think of an Elephant" by George Lakoff. I was so inspired by it that I want to start a monthly salon to discuss politics and what we can do to positively affect our country, but through the frame that Lakoff puts forward.

This is one of the quotes featured in a temporary public art installation in Union Square. I hope to get over to see it in the next week or two.

Politics

This is a collection of my various posts, rants, musings, experiences, etc of politics. This is also a forum for me to explore and clarify my own position on many of these issues. Currently, they're organized by date, perhaps later I'll rearrange them by topic.
