Garden update for Jen
It's not worth a picture. Of all the seeds I planted, only one chard plant came up. The bulbs came up, blossomed and were pretty, but they're done now. I wasn't able to make time for it this spring. Too much other stuff...

hi velma! haven't been keeping up to date on my blog reading, and then you go and post a ton :-) sorry your plants didn't come up! it was a very strange weather year, and i had some problems with normally successful vegetables. i just got some lemongrass to plant. apparently it very prolific, and it also does well in our zones with little frost. maybe a possibility for your garden plot, to have handy for the thai cooking!
